bilateral thyromegaly with signs of hyperactivity

Hi!Interpretation:bilateral thyromegaly with signs of hyperactivity,what does it mean?..
The thyroid gland has the foll.enlarged functional planar dimension:
Right lobe:5.6cmx 2.8
Left lobe:5:3cmx 2.0
Both lobes show fairly uniform tracer distribution with no focal labeling defect noted.i just dont understand the doctor wont give me medecine because my thyroid still sleeping.what im going to do?but i dont have any symtomps,what are the best food to eat?

Large overactive thyroid is generally a treatable autoimmune thyroiditis. Free T3, Free T4, an TPO antibodies and unless we see nodules and US is fine.If you  are indeed HYPER THYROID /how hyperthyroid are you, and is it documented autoimmune? Great that it appears it's a goiter and not nodular......and you need eval with Endocrinologist. Foods will make zero difference.Just eat healthy whole foods.

The RAI scan is not a good way to measure thyroid size (10% acuracy) ; ultrasound is better!
hyperactivity means it has increased function; so it is not sleeping, it rather sleepless
