sleepy after ultrasound?

I had an ultrasound today (which was pretty painful) b/c my doc is "watching" a goiter on my thyroid.  Ever since, I can barely stay awake and my eyes feel super dry.  I wonder if there is a correlation... ?  or maybe I'm just stressed about it.

After my ultrasound I felt terrible for 5 or 6 days....I felt like I had to sleep all the time...almost like having the flu or something.  Mine was painful also...and my thyroid swelled up and has not gone back down.  My ultrasound was a month ago tomorrow.

I know that lots of pain makes me tired but I'm wondering if it could be a hormone dump.  That can happen from manipulating a thyroid too much.

Yeah, stress doesn't help either.
