thyroid issues and pregnant

I'm 8 weeks pregnant and I found out I have thyroid issues ... my levels where to high ... anyone else pregnant and have the same problem .... and any advice or things to know or be prepared for in the future ... thanks in advance!!!!!

You upped your dose of what?  The medications taken for hyper are not the same as those taken for hypo. Just saying you upped your dose doesn't tell us anything.

My thyroid issue got much worse when I was pregoo and is now worse after being preganant. It goes from hyper to hypo. It is totally normal for it to go out of balance. I had to up my dose and still on a high dose and baby is almost 4. I guess i am saying my thyroid got bad during pregancy.

Which levels were way to high?  If TSH is too high, you are probably hypothyroid; if actual thyroid hormone levels are too high, you are hyperthyroid.  They are the exact opposite of one another, so we need actual results from your lab work, as the treatment is different, for each.

Has your doctor put you on any medication?  If so, which one, what dosage and for how long have you been on it?
