i think it's thyroiditis...because i'm getting ear pain and dizziness also...it's affecting my ears which is weird...and my thinking...i also think it might be my hormones adjusting to me getting my period...i haven't had my period in like 11 months after my baby was born...but goodness all the things your body has to go through to get back in sync after labor... :(
Thanks for the replies :)

I had post partum hyperthyroid i have been on medicaton for almost 20 months i do get more symptoms before and during my period, there is more hormones during this time. if you have not been tested for thyroid problems then you could have a blood test done and if you have a thyroid problem then it is ok to feel like that my doctor said to take a extra methimazole during this time

Yes, it could be hormonal.  Still it can be concerning. You may want to try to post this question about post-partum hyperthyroidism to Dr. Lupo on the doctor-to-patient forum.

You are experiencing symptoms or you have been diagnosed as hyperthyroid? If this is your first period, it could just be your body adjusting to hormone shift.
