I viewed the site you mentioned above. Have you been to see the doctor about this?
Are you having issues with your breathing and swollowing?
Hi.
I have seen the doctor for my previous problems with the thyroid... I have had a BAD thyroiditis this past summer that actually my doctor substitute found ...later when my actual doctor came back I guess my thyroid levels came back to normal on their own... so he never really gave much importance to my other symptoms.
I never did an echography because I then lost my job and now I do not have insurance... :-(
The thing is that sometimes my throat feels swollen... like I am going to get a bad sore throat, but I never do and it always stays like that. Nothing bad... it just bothers me. My neck also feels stiff and I've always thought it was stress...
I do not have problems swallowing (or I perhaps just a little bit ...as when you have an inflammation due to a sore throat) or breathing...
Perhaps what I see in my throat is only my epiglottis that is high and visible... and my throat anatomy is just odd... ? None of the people I have around has a visible epiglottis like mine though.... and then seeing that photo....
recently was advised by an anesthesiologist that I should consult an ENT about my epiglottis. Have had a sore throat and cough lately but nothing major. Any info
