ILADVOCATE is absolutely right. You need to get yourself to the ER, and from there, straight to a women's shelter. I'm surprised that you haven't been killed already. Please….DO IT!
It would be essential at this time to go to the e.r. to prevent anything from worsening and so what you have can be treated. An emergency room cannot turn down a person in need of help. Also they should be able to provide
referrals for further follow up on the long term impact of the injuries.
As well it would be crucial to explain to them the cause of the injuries.
The best thing to do would be to have them help direct you to a domestic violence shelter and leave the situation you are in now for your own immediate
safety. They should be able to provide you with further advice and counseling after that as well as referrals to legal assistance if needed.
