Four months ago I suffered mild head injury/ a concussiom after a little accident. I had pretty bad symtpoms for about two months. After three months, most symtpoms had disappeared and I went back to full time work, drinking alcohol, running, etc. I gradually increased all this before returning in full.
Since a week and a half, soms symtpoms returned quite intensily and I needed to cut back on work again. I realized I mildy bumped my head about two weeks ago. At the moment it didnt cause me pain and I went on without even paying attention to it. Under normal circumstances (i.e. No previous trauma) I am sure it would not cause me problems
-Does anyone recognize an aggrevatiom like this after you were basically okay again?
-Can the mild bump be the/ a cause? Are you still vulnerable even when symtpoms (almost) disappeared?
- Will symtpoms now last as long as the first time?
-For how long will the brain be more vulnerable? Hopefully I wont’t have problems after every light bump the rest of my life.
-Could something else be the problem? I have an appointment in the hospital in 2 weeks. Could an MRI be useful?
Any experience is appreciated :-)
