Mild Concussion/Post Concussion Question

I hit my head very hard about a month ago.  I fell out of a car and smacked my head.  Was intoxicated.  Had a huge lump.  Went to Urgent Care 3 days later, no need for a CT scan just a mild concussion.  Did not have any symptoms beside bruised head.  Next day, I was very, very dazed. Felt like I was in a dream  Day after that had some mild headaches.  Went to my regular GP 3 days later.  Again, no need for CT scan just had a mild concussion.  I have severe anxiety.  Now a month later, I get very slight twinges of a headache for a couple seconds near my eyes (3 or 4 times a day) where I hit my head.  Some days I feel just fine and other days I feel dazed ( out of it, foggy) for a couple of hours.  Every day I have "twinges" about 3 or 4 times a day  My anxiety is an issue I'm sure with this.  My doc said people with GAD take longer to recover sometimes.  She said I DO NOT need a CT Scan but would send me to one if this would stop my anxiety.  I think I will have anxiety about radiation.

Are the twinges of headache and occasional dazed feeling normal after a month?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi!
Any persisting headache after a head injury should be investigated. However, any internal brain injury, usually also produces tingling/numbness/memory issues/vision problems etc apart from headaches or pains at the site of injury.
Pain above the eye can also be due to refractive error of the eye. Sleep issues can be due to anxiety. You can take anti-anxiety medication at bed time. This may help you sleep better. Taking a walk before bedtime, eating two hours before bed time, practicing yoga or meditation, and listening to music etc. help overcome anxiety. Please discuss with your doctor. Take care!

The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you. The advice may not be completely correct for you as the doctor cannot examine you and does not know your complete medical history. Hence this reply to your post should only be considered as a guiding line and you must consult your doctor at the earliest for your medical problem.
