Hi...
I am not a doctor and I cannot give any medical advice....But YES that could be the cause.
You need to go see a neurologist as soon as you can. Primary care physicians are good but go see someone who knows about the brain.
I am now 47 but when I was 15, I was ejected from a vehicle. I too have seizures. The small "jerks" your having are probably Myoclonic(?) seizures. You need to be monitored by a Neuro and on medication. You also need to research epilepsy and educate yourself and your family.
I know it sounds amazing that this "late in the game" it could manifest itself...but tramatic head injury does what it wants when it wants.
Good luck

Well said about TBI. "tramatic head injury does what it wants when it wants"
I had a TBI year ago and have no idea how my next day is going to be in terms of suffering (bad or worse). At this point I am happy if I have a bad day compared to worse day.
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Traumatic brain injury can cause symptoms after many years. Symptoms that come and go can be due to TIA or transient ischemic attacks and can also be due to TBI causing encephalomalacia. You must consult a neurologist ASAP and a MRI of the brain should be done close to the event. Hope this helps. Take care!
