Regaining Speech

Hi,
My close one had underwent a brain operation 3 months ago.
Currently has been recovering....
He is able to eat now.
Next, I would like to help him to regain his speech....
Is there a way to help him?
Currently, he is not able to make any sound....
Any suggestion is welcome.

Appreciate your help.

There are speech therapists or speech pathologists who can help with this.

THere is a speech center in the brain that may have been affected by the clot or the surgery.  It could take months for it to heal up.

If your close one can draw pictures or write words or make sign language with hands, or, even just blink yes or no, then even if this person cannot speak, communication can happen and the person will feel better.  This always helps.
