Night dizziness

Hi
For the last four years I've been experiencing the following symptoms at night I usually wake feeling very headlight and dizzy as I I was going to faint. Some occasions  I have jumped out of bed only to either drop to the floor due to the weird feeling or making it to the bathroom and then having hot and cold sweats breathless raising heart and then having to lay on the floor until it passes, it's almost like my body is forcing me to wake as something it happening. I'm asthmatic I take inhalers, antihistamines, nasal sprays. The first time it happened I felt I was having a stroke, my vision was blurring. It doesn't happen every night. I've had it the last two nights then maybe a couple of times a month. I've been tested for lots of things heart etc I had a monitor overnight but nothing happened that night. It's getting worrying and quite scary. I think occasion I have apnea too as I have woken coughing.
Any ideas or advice would be gratefully received
Thanks you

I would definitely see a doctor soon.  It's best to get faintness checked out.  I would also ask to have the heart monitor for more than one night because, as you say, it didn't happen the one night you were wearing it.

Hello~

Your symptoms sound quite serious, I would see another doctor, preferably a cardiologist, you need to see a specialist instead of a regular GP, this is nothing to wait around with.

I will say that some of this sounds anxiety related, is your stress level high? You may be having a reaction to your inhaler, sometimes our bodies can suddenly develop a sensitivity to the meds you are on.

If, after having a thorough check up for these issues, and nothing is found, then see a chiropractor, believe it or not, when certain vertebrae I the neck and upper back are out of alignment, you can have these symptoms.
