For 1 1/2 years, transient episodes- occuring much more frequently now. ( approximately 3-4 days per week). No weight loss. All blood work as of 6 months ago- norma. Contrast tomography of chest, abdomen and pelvis - normal, EXCEPT Left lower lobe 2-4 mm ( not cm)  4 tiny spots-? granuloma probably unrelated to symptoms. I agree with Medicmommy also Froyem
Just because those tests were like that then by the way does not mean they haven't changed. An endocrinologist will probably run even more specialized tests to make see what is going on. It is worth a try and of course the other things I mentioned in my msg.
Maybe you would do better in a different climate even...not just because of Katrina or anything, but seriously. Sometimes different climates can have some effect on a person's health. I wish Katrina never happened. Are you holding out ok dealing with that by the way? HUGS

Sorry to hear about your hep-C. I'm glad to hear you're strong and stubborn. As for me- thanks for the suggestions. T.B. test- negative, thyroid ( TSH,T3, T4) and testosterone levels- normal, CRP, HIV, R.A. titer, ova and parasites, sputum, mono,hepatitis-negative. What is black mold? Like everyone else in LA- we had to clean out and throw away our refrig. and freezer, we replaced the internal duct work in the house- it was filled with mold. Two months of no power- no A.C. and 95 degree hot and humid climate probably left mold everywhere but, we cleaned as thoroughly as possible.  Sick today with dizziness, loss of appetite, nausea, chills, etc..Thanks for your suggestions

This sounds hormone related...I know you said your blood labs were done, but was thyroid and testosterone checked as well? Also, were you checked for tuberculosis? I know chest xray was done, but TB can happen in other areas...many post Katrina ppl got it from being in poor conditions with a lot of sick people...Have you had any exposure to black mold toxins?..I don't remember what the tests are for checking it, but I know it's killed a few folks..Sorry I couldn't be more help...

I cannot think of anything off hand but I am wondering what could be the cause of all this. For now my prayers are all I can offer and hopefully your next doctor might be able to help. Peace

Is there a medical professional out there who can think of anything I haven't tested for whether it's viral, fungal, allergens or related to post-Katrina Louisiana
