Chronic high WBC, extreme fatigue, body aches

Hello! I was wondering if someone could give me an answer with symptoms I've been having for roughly three months now. I saw my doctor for a physical in August and she did a WBC w/o diff. And my white count was 12.1 (normal limits are 0-11) and platelets were 410 (nl 150-400). I had started a new job in. Primary care office and chalked it up to just a routine sinus infection. I was started on doxy and my sinus symptoms resolved. However, it seems like every weekend I feel flu-like I.e., severe body aches, left abdominal pain (more achy then anything else), sensitivity to cold, and extreme fatigue. I eat well and exercise a couple times a week so I'm pretty healthy except I'm always so tired. My doctor ordered a repeat CBC again with no diff. and my count came back higher at 14.8, but my platelets were wnl. I had mono in college and am under the impression I can get it again, but I feel pretty similar to how I felt then if now worse. My doctor wants to send me to a hematologist, after another round of CBC with differential this time around, but I'm starting to get concerned. Any advice is very welcome!!
