Several sore pimple/boil-like spots coming up
My friend is 63 years of age, and he has several spots coming up that look infected, and are very sore. There is one on his chest, wrist, nose, and his inner ear is also swelled and sore. The inner ear site doesn't show any symptoms besides being swollen. But all the other sites are very similar. They all are swollen and red around the extremity, all having a pustule in the center that is scabbed over. Looks like infected boils. He was bit by a spider recently, about a week or so ago, but that has since been healing. Also, he's a type 2 diabetic. Could it be staff?
