Discomfort in abdomen area

Hello! I am a girl that is 14 years old. Ive been have throbbing pain in my upper middle abdomen area for the past two days. It is bearable, but as the days go on it gets worse. I have also discovered that when I'm laying flat on my back it throbs and hurts more than when I'm crunch up in like a sit-up positionWhen I first got this pain I thought it might be trapped gas, so I took medicine for trapped gas and it didn't work. Also every minute or two there is more of an sharp pain that goes through the area where it hurts the most, it lasts about 10 seconds. In the past I was diagnosed with GERD and was on medication. I stopped using it because i felt better. That was probably about 7 months ago.

You might need the medicine again. You need to take it until you talk to your Dr about stopping it.
