Hi.
Feeling cold and being sleepy, can be a symptom of hypothyroidism.
I would suggest having a full blood count and a thyroid profile blood test done.
Anaemia can also make you feel cold, and sleepy.
Go and have some simple blood tests done, and you may find the cause to your symptoms.
Hope this as helped.

Hi!
I am not a doctor but you may be suffering from panic attacks. Shivering, among rapid heart beat and shortness of breath are some (but not all) the symptoms of an anxiety disorder. They (panic attacks) can occur intermittently or chronically. You may want to keep a journal to document when the shivering or coldness occurs, the duration of the shivering/coldness, and what you did before it occurred. See your doctor if you find any changes in your sleep habits that are deleterious to your lifestyle. Alternatively, you may just be cold sensitive,
good luck
Your body temperature goes down when you are in a relaxed state by about 2 or 3 degrees. That is why when you need to keep track of ovulation they say you should take your temperature before you truly wake up. As soon as an alarm goes off in the morning you will put a thermometer into your mouth and usually not get a temperature higher than 96.
