Heavy Chest after I eat.

I've been getting a really heavy chest after I eat and it gets really uncomfortable. I noticed I get a heavy chest after I eat mcdonalds or any type of fast food. Then when I drink tea it goes away. Is it bad ?

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Fast food is rich in fat. Hence this could be causing gas or flatulence if there is liver or gallbladder problem. It could also be intolerance to some ingredient of the food. Please get a liver function test and ultrasound of gall bladder done. Also possibility of acidity should be looked into. Do discuss this with your doctor and get yourself examined.
Hope this helps. Take care!

I don't eat fast food anymore. I keep thinking it may be my chest wall. All the tension and stress of having anxiety. Could it be possible that anxiety causes chest pain ?

Have you had your heart checked to make sure there is no problem there?  How's your cholesterol level?  Esophageal spasms can cause chest pain and fast food might just be the thing to give it to you.  A tight feeling in the chest and sweaty clammy skin also sounds like things that can happen with anxiety- do you feel anxious about eating fast food?

Could it be gas?  Do you notice any heartburn?  Have you ever had your gallbladder checked (as attacks can come after certain types of food)?
