Hole on my perineum.

A little warning: this story is a tad disgusting.
Around 6 months ago, I started noticing some mild discomfort when I sat down. Naturally, as it was only a minor inconvenience, I thought nothing of it and just assumed it would go away after a while.
A week or so later however, I was out with some friends, and I irritated the area sitting down on an uncomfortable surface. Upon inspection in the mirror when I got home, I saw there had begun to form a lump on the right side of my perineum.
By the next morning, the pain had got worse, and it continued to get worse over the next few days - to the point where it was debilitating. I could not sit down, I had trouble sleeping, and walking too was a difficult affair. In fact, I had to spend an entire week in bed for fear of making the problem any worse. Foolishly of course, I did not go to the doctor, and it did get worse.
I sat down, and the skin around the affected area tore painfully. Again looking in the mirror, I saw there was a hole, roughly 4cm up and 1-2cm across, right where the lump had been.
This hole has not changed size or shape since and regularly leaks discharge. It is not incredibly uncomfortable to sit on (it is uncomfortable, but I can live with it), but still the prospect of having to deal with it for the rest of my life is certainly not something I love.

Thank you in advance.

You need to see a doctor. Could just be a boil of some kind that has now burst and will repair itself, but best to get it checked and maybe antibiotics if advised

Not sure if you have a question, as you don't state one, but it's not too late to see a doctor.
