I have your same problem.
It started when i was much younger i took my niece to my aunt and she fell asleep on the couch. I heard someone coughing and when we turned to see what was happening, it was my niece coughing out a worm. Well you must know, ever since that day when i feel something in my throat i wonder if it is a worm. One day i felt something in the  side of my mouth, "Note" I am scared of slimy creatures worms and snails especially. even if it was coming from me. I ran to my mother for help, told myself i will not take it out. had some tea and it went down.
What i have just realized though is that it happens when i get depressed or if i am singing, or if i am worried. Just now i have it and i used light and camera, yes! to see what was there, the camera could not go as far as i would have liked. However I tried putting my finger in the back of my throat to find out what is happening and felt something pretty much unusual. sometimes i do have heart burn or gas built up, sometimes towards the area of my heart and then i might get stitches.

I really hope it is not a worm. i will do just that though.

if you have seen your niece with a worm, you may have it too. it might be the PARASITIC WORMS that can live in the human body. there are some different kinds that live in the stomach or the intestine, some come out in the feces (poop) and some come out from the larynx (mouth) . my sister once, have seen in the the wc bowl, because it went out in her feces .. i remember she dis not see a doctor she was just scarred because she lost some weight fast... In russia, some women use those worm with the purpose of losing weight fast... they ingest it and get out it self... but a child or a skinny person may be really sick and needs a doctor for that...

Well girl, I would honestly recommend going to the doctor and letting them know you want a scope in your throat because you feel something tickling it, you can mention a worm but usually they get skeptic, just be very insistent on the tickling and that you really want to get it checked out. That's probably the safest things.
