I am experiencing Uncontrolled head nodding and body spasms for 4months now

I am 28yrs old, a few months ago I started having uncontrollable head nodding which lasted a few seconds, gradually the movements became more violent and lasted for longer periods of time from a maybe 1-2times for 3seconds a day to more that 7times at longer periods each day. I have been for EEG's and MRI's both have come up clean, I was put on rivitol and activan they helped for a few days but the nodding started to return. I have been to a few neurologists who don't have an answer for me and concluded that it might be anxiety but as stated above the medication had little effect. I have lost hope in finding a solution and am now desperate. The "attacks" happen throughout the day with my muscles tensing up and after the attacks I have a headache.

Hello~Since you have been to a doctor and they have said nothing is wrong, I would suggest seeing a Chiropractor. You could very well have some misplaced vertebrae in your neck causing pinched nerves and the head bobbing. He/she will take an x-ray as this will show what area needs attention.

It could be several things but without a medical history it's hard to tell. Have you had any trauma to your head before? Any psychological family history?

Hi thank you for your reply, no head trauma, growing up I did have cases years apart where I would lose vision and be unable to comprehend words also where half my body would go limp it would last for a period of time not longer than an hour, when I was 8 , 15, 23 and 25 usually when I got excited about an event
