I have a vibration or buzzing similar to a cellphone vibration in my lower abdomen.

At first, I thought it WAS my cellphone, but it is not, it is me  It started about 2 weeks ago and was very seldom.  it is now a constant vibration at intervals of every 10 - 45 seconds, lasting 1-2 seconds while sitting.  occasionally while standing and almost never when laying down.  It does not hurt.  It is just annoying.  For the past two years I have had chronic severe lower back pain which I have seen my physician for and have undertaken weeks of physical therapy with very little resolve.  I can  stand for only short periods of time after which I must sit which almost immediately stops pain.  I am 50 years old with onset of menapause and am overweight.  The vibrations are driving me crazy.  Hope it is not something serious.

Hello~You would probably be helped with chiropractic adjustments, you could have some pinched nerves, this could surely cause the "vibrating" symptoms you are having. The chiropractor will take some x-rays, read them and then discuss the findings with you; after a few treatments you should start to feel better.

I have endometriosis and know this is a symptom I've experienced and other woman. I use to think I'd left my phone in my pocket and make little squeaks when it happened, its very annoying. I have back and pelvic pain as well and if it gets really bad the pain can spread down my legs, particularly if I stand to long. I believe it's growing around my ligaments and nerves. I've had surgery to try and remove it all but the surgeon wasn't successful. Menopause will stop the growths but surgery is the only thing that will remove what's already there if that's what you have. 1 in 10 woman have endometriosis its worth looking into x
