I have hip, abdomen and groin pain on the left lower side for 3 months now. When I sit in a low chair with legs bent, the groin/abdomen pain gets worse. When I stand up after sitting it hurts to stretch out. Feels better if I lay down flat on the floor
You might ask your doctor to check you for a hernia. They're more often seen in males, and your sign-in says you're female, but women get them as well, and don't always present with an obvious bulge.
Actually I am a 61 year old male who was working out for 2 hours a day with weights and doing 1/2 to 1 hour of cardio every day until this happened. There is no bulge so it seems it can't be hernia. I am praying it is a hernia because that can be fixed. I have been worried about cancer which is freeking me out
Just checked on that. Some hernias can indeed be without a bulge the person can see or feel, and the symptom of it feeling better when you lie down is typical of an inguinal hernia. Do see your doctor soon. If it is a hernia it's a bad idea to wait, and they don't get better on their own.
I had Two on One Side and One the the other side I opt to be cut if I was doing it again I would have had three little holes in my stomach instead being cut much longer healing good luck Tony
