Well, yes even that can damage. On net I cannot confirm. Please discuss these possibilities with your doctor.
Thank you for your attention. But I need to clarify...I dropped a heavy soup can (unopened) on my foot. It was not hot. Does that make a difference? Could I have damaged some nerves? If so what would I do...if thats the case. Yes...also I guess I am 46 and perimenopausal age :)
Hi
Welcome to the forum!
This is abnormal perception of sensory nerves, which could have got damaged by the hot soup that fell on the foot. If it is bothering too much, maybe you can consult a neurologist.
If you are in menopausal age, then this is a common symptom. It is also seen in people who are very anxious and stressed out. Very dry skin (try a moisturizer on the area) and disorders of thyroid gland all can precipitate a crawling sensation. Dry skin is also a possibility if the sweat glands in the area are damaged by burning hot soup.
Hope this helps. Do let me know if there is any thing else and keep me posted. Take care!
