Lower stomach pain in morning for years

I’ve been having very similar symptoms mentioned in the previous two posts too. Also that the pain doesn’t go away if I don’t get up to urinate and it eases after urinating.

The pain isn’t very intense and is bearable and so far hasn’t affected my work nor my concentration and it normally goes away completely during the morning.

Over the past two to three years, I also need to urinate fairly frequently and sometimes urgently. However, the urine is abundant, even if frequent. I’m male and am 60 this year.

I’ve been drinking about two cups of tea daily (which I believe is diuretic) but I’ve since stopped since I started to drink (a tea-bag) of herbs for its melatonin properties (Luisa herb) to help me to sleep about six months ago.
I’ve become some sort of obsessed with nutrition since the advent of the Internet that has enabled us to be very informed about nutrition.

I’ve virtually cut out refined carb from my diet and restrict myself fairly strictly on refined sugar and salt. My last check I was fine with my blood pressure and sugar levels.

My diet now (over the past 5 years) comprises basically veg and fruits, lots and lots of them, especially those intense-colored ones that I read are rich in anti-oxidants, some meat and lately, mostly fish, but little carb.
(Basically, before I eat anything, and I mean EVERYTHING, I’d first look it up on the Internet to find out its health benefits. If it’s good, I’d eat more. If it say very good, I’d eat vey much. If it says bad, I’d try to cut it out).

What I may seem to have overdone over the past five years maybe I’ve had too plain natural low-fat and unsugared yoghurt, 3 to 4 servings daily. Bifidus yoghurt seems to maintain your gums better than mouthwash. Could my problems have stemmed from that?

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
There is a great chance that you have a low lying bladder infection. Give the first sample in the morning for testing. A culture too should be set up. Also get your blood sugar tested. Prostatitis too could be a problem. Please consult an urologist.
Hope this helps. Take care!
