Lymphoma

I've had swollen glands for a very long time in my neck I had blood tests and was told I had a virus in my blood, that's all I was told. I was then given antibiotics that never worked so I was sent to ENT they told me I had a reactive gland and left it at that. It's been months since I went to ENT and my glands that were swollen feel to have gotten bigger I have also found two new glands further down the side of my neck and two under my jaw but my right one feels a lot bigger than my left. I feel weak and tired all the time once I fall asleep I can sleep for hours, sometimes I get a tight feeling in my chest or a pain, I've also had pains in my armpits at times. I hate feeling like this because I have no energy to do anything like at college when my friends want to go to the shop I feel like I can't be bothered. At times as well I get a hot feeling which makes me even more tired. Another thing that's recently gotten worse is getting out of breath if I walk up two stairs I'm starting to get out of breath and trying to take deep breaths makes me feel even more out of breath. I know I'm probably worrying myself over nothing but I just feel like something's not right, and help or advice?

I'd say about two years now I've had problems with my glands and now recently more have just popped up. I've got a doctors appointment on Monday but I have a feeling they will just tell me it's nothing to worry about again.

And annelxoxo how exactly did you get diagnosed with lymphoma? And I might have to try some vitamins and see how I feel

I have lymphoma too, and they told me the same thing they told you they dont tell you much. It is very frustrating for me as well because i feel tiered all the time as well. I started taking vitamins and omega fatty acid pills and they help.

Hi,

How long is "very long"?  and is it possible for you to return to the doc to show new lymph nodes and tell about the shortness of breath?  If you have had a virus your system would certainly try to defend  you as that is what it is for, right?  But  I sure  do understand being  worried or scared when we can't find answers. There are some folks on here with good information, perhaps some will respond with good info. I am not well versed in the lymph area which is why I came on here, too.   I hope you start to feel better soon and gets some answers.
God bless.
