Red spot on wrist after EMG/NCS

I had an EMG and NCS in December, and one of the needle injection sites was the thumb side of my right wrist. I have de Quervain's in that wrist as well.

I've had a spreading light red/ purple spot around the needle insertion point that is now around a 1/2 inch in diameter, and has been growing since the test almost 2 months ago. I thought it was maybe a bruise, but now I think it's an infection or something. Has anyone had this?

Thanks!

Thanks so much for your reply! Would a primary care doctor be able to help on Monday, or is it an urgent care matter that I should get checked out ASAP?
