Male Stretch mark/scar near groin on thigh

For a while now I have noticed a stretch mark like pattern developing near my groin on my thigh. It doesn't itch or anything but I am not sure if it's a stretch mark or a scar.

Aghh.  Stretch marks are annoying, no?  But the good news is they are harmless and should fade.  They happen for different reasons like gaining weight, gaining muscle, rapid growth and genetics.  They most often will fade to silver and be much less noticeable.  You should show them to your doctor at your next well visit though because they can also happen due to various health issues like Cushing's disease or hormonal imbalance and can appear if you use steroids. I'd use a vitamin enriched cream on them and you could consider exfoliating.  That helps keep the dead skin cells from gathering on them and will help them fade.  You can also see a dermatologist who could provide laser therapy or microdermabrasion if it is really bothering you.  One note, stay away from topical corticosteroids in that area as it increases things like stretch marks for some. good luck
