Mental Health & pain

In the past days, i have really bad anxiety like i'm going to have a heart attack or a ziesure. I did have termination in January because i had a siezure. I have terrible night mares at night and was taking trazadone but stop taking it because night mares got worse. Than was on lorapazm, they worked but had to take 5 a day which i ended up taking, 60 in week and 3 day. What can i do to lessen the anxiety, and less twitches and body spasms? What kind of doctor should i go see?

You don't need any kind of doctor for anxiety. He will give you only antidepressants, sleep inducing etc. Clonazepam or most of tablets for sleep are habit forming so avoid it. Drugs will help very less as compared to building your mind very strong. So be confident, nothing will happen as you have already checked for heart.

I would go to a neurologist or psychiatrist. Both are good with meds that deal with the nerves and anxiety etc. At least they both helped me.BTW, did you not tell your employer you had seizures? If you did tell them in the beginning they can't fire you and you could sue for wrongful termination. If you didn't tell them then they can.

To relax and reduce the anxiety effects, follow these techniques, to help yourself naturally.

Build up your timing gradually. If you feel tired or dizzy, stop and resume after one minute.

Anulom Vilom pranayam –
Close your right nostril with thumb and deep breath-in through left nostril
then – close left nostril with two fingers and breath-out through right nostril
then -keeping the left nostril closed  deep breath-in through right nostril
then - close your right nostril with thumb and breath-out through left nostril.
This is one cycle of anulom vilom.
Repeat this cycle for 20 to 30  minutes twice a day.
Children under 15 years – do 5 to 10 minutes twice a day.
You can do this before breakfast/lunch/dinner or before bedtime or in bed.Remember to take deep long breaths into the lungs. You can do this while sitting on floor or chair or lying in bed.

Bhramri Pranayam -Roll your tongue up, so that it touches the roof of the mouth. Close eyes. Close little flap of ears with thumb, place  index finger on forehead, and rest three fingers on base of nose touching eyes. Breathe in through nose. And now breathe out through nose while humming like a bee.
Repeat this  5 to 21 times.
