Morgellon's? What do you think?

For over 7 years I have had a bad (yes bad) itch on my back that drives me crazy.  I was bitten by a Kissing bug and have been itching since.  I have tried drinking apple cider vinegar and baking soda mixed with water - "they" say that being alkaline will help the situation.  I burned my back once using Hydrogen Peroxide and I regularly use hand sanitizer to stop the itch at least for a little while. -
I have been to dermatologists - one couldn't see anything on my back and told me it was all in my mind.  Another saw the sores and gave me a shot of lidocaine and called it good. Hah!!  I was itching furiously before I left his office.  Never went back. -  I spoke with another dermatologist and told him I had lived in the tropics before and had been bitten by the Kissing Bug and asked if perhaps I have Chaga's.  He told me it would cost too much to do a test and let it go at that. -
I caught some of the fibers and looked at them with a microscope - they are rainbow colored and move. -  Then I video-recorded one with my camera on Macro.  You can see that thin "thread" move and curl and stretch - can't tell me it's not alive.
So I went on line to see what Morgellon's is about.  There it is!!!!  Some people were saying they got it from a gnat and others from dust mites or tiny spiders.  Some were saying they are man-made by nano technology.  All I want is to be rid of them!!   I tried the Morgellon's  "instant cure"  taking a bath with detergent, bleach and alfafa tablets.  I still have the sores and those things itch and bite!
I caught some with scotch tape and took them to the doctor who looked at them under a microscope.  They informed me that they are not worms but fibers and that yes they move, but are not alive!  So now I'm labeled as a "Matchbox" symptom patient.  That I have a psychosis believing I have parasites.  What do you call them?
I get desperate and try different things including the diatomaceous earth - only make "them" angry and they bite and itch all the more. - At night I use Gold Bond anti-itch cream and sleep with fabric softener sheets which keep them from biting at least through the night.
Do you have any of these symptoms?  Itching, crawling sensation, gnats or threads in the eyes, biting or stinging?  Do you suppose Monsanto's tampering with cotton, soy, corn and canola have anything to do with it?  Now they want to Modify Green Chile!!!  -  GMO's were thrown out of India and several other countries.  Wonder what symptoms those people had before they threw them out!

I took samples of what I thought were tripanasomes and the doctors told me they were fibers and not worms.  To me they looked almost like the tripanasomes that I saw on line.  But the doctors told me they are not.  So am still at square one.  But thanks for your dx.  It was what I had diagnosed myself with years ago... Unfortunately or fortunately the doctors do not agree.

Thank you for your comment, Jemma116 - unfortunately, the CDC didn't want to have anything to do with this.... may have to try again.

There are two drugs that are standard parasitic treatments for Chagas disease.  These are nifurtimox and benznidazole.

I have read that the treatment is effective in the acute phase of the disease.

As you have had Chagas now for 7 years, I do not know whether the drugs would be of any help.

Serum samples may be sent to CDC through your state health department for diagnosis.

In the U.S., medication for Chagas is available only through CDC. Your health care provider can talk with CDC staff about whether and how you should be treated.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
