My skin

I have noticed that i break out frequent on my thighs and also on the lower part of my back and my butt. They look like bite marks but they are not. They itch and of coarse i scratch. after they go away they leave a mark like i just recovered from chickenpox or something. I don't know what is causing me to break out like this and bruise in the areas afterwards. If someone has went through this can you please help me. I want to get rid of the marks but i really don't know how. what should i do?

I am gone to keep applying the vitamin e cream daily and see what happens. Hi
Thanks for keeping me posted!

You can use steroid creams. Your pharmacist can help you with this. Many OTC creams are available that help decrease the marks. Vitamin E creams also help.
Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!
Such lesions are generally viral or allergic in nature. It is difficult to comment without examining but it can be eczema, contact dermatitis, rash due to friction as happens when cloth rubs the skin, sweat dermatitis due to excessive sweating. Fungal infections like tinea and dermatitis too cause itchy patches.
You may try calamine lotion on the rash. You should also maintain hygiene and try to keep the area clean and dry, wear loose-fitting cotton clothing.  Since the rash is itchy, antihistaminic like benadryl or Claritin may help.
Scabies and psoriasis are other possibilities.
If the rash persists then it will be best to get it evaluated from a dermatologist.

Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
