Intense itching!

Me and my boyfriend have both been breaking out in these bumps all over us, they seem to me mainly on the top of our legs and on our arms but tend to cover most of the body. (They look like insect bites!).

Now here's the tricky part..
He went to the doctors, but didn't tell them that I was suffering from the same thing too, so they provided him with Hydrocortisone cream and some allergy tablets. But surely if it was an allergy it would be extremely coincidental for us to both have it?

We thought maybe it could be dust mites in the bed or something, but I have just moved into a new flat, and purchased a brand new bed, and the "bites" are still appearing on the both of us!

Any advice on what they could be?
Helpppp!

Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!
This can be scabies that can spread from one to another by sharing towels and clothes. It can also be tinea cruris, a fungal infection. This could also be due to some food like sea food or fish or tinned food you both consumed. Both of you should jointly go to the doctor to know the reason for the rash.

Hope this helps. It is a skin specialist for this.  Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
