Gall Bladder Surgery Complications

I had my gallbladder removed in Aug, 2010. About a month later, I developed extreme abdominal pain and it was found that a gall stone had lodged in the bile duct, which they then removed. Since then, I have terrible heart burn it feels like, a terrible burning sensation in my throat and down to my stomach, constant nausea and bloated stomach. It feels bad if I eat and even when I don't eat. Could this be a bile duct leak and should I go have it checked out? I always feel like I am a bother to the doctors and shouldn't go see a doctor till I need to be carried in.

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Take omeprazole empty stomach in morning and see if it helps. Watch what you eat and log in the food you eat and see if a particular type causes more symptoms. If avoiding these food items and taking Omeprazole does not help, consult a specialist immediately. It would anyways be wiser to consult a doctor who can examine you. Take care!
