Neck Swelling

I have a problem with my lymph nodes swelling or so my doctor said. It started  with my ears hurting and then when I went to the doctor he said my lymphnodes were swollen. He tested me for mono and that came back negative.  I have no clue what it is and was wondering if you had any ideas?

I would not begin to tell you what you can take.  I would recommend consulting an ENT Specialist to rule out what is going on.

I cannot stand the cold, it seems to make them hurt worse. It has spread to more of my neck. My ears pop and hurt when they pop. I cannot hear to well at times. It has moved to my jaw and more of my neck. Sometimes I have headaches, but not sure if that is connected. It started when I had three rats in my room and it seemed to get better when I removed them. I have not been around them, but it seems to be getting worse. I was also wondering if there was something I could take.
