Are you overweight?
The impulses you feel are they on the inner or outer thighs?
Do you feel this gets worse when you are walking and standing up?

Pelvis area problems can be from arthritic hips.
Another problem is from trapped nerves in the pelvic area, especially with people who are overweight.  The outer thigh or thighs can become numb and have sensations of tingling with pains in the pelvis and lower abdomen.

If this is what you have, it is called meralgia parasthetica.  Answer given to me by a triage physiotherapist was to lose weight.

Best wishes
