Searching for help

i have been seriously ill for over four months, my primary and GI specialist  have performed numerous test and procedures, but my symptoms continue, my body continues to decline, everything(test/procedures) comes back normal. My symptoms include upper abdominal pain, foul oily stools, constipation, dizzy spells, loss of weight, severe dry skin, my bowels have slowed drastically, i have lost so much weight in my neck, i have sunken eyes, all my muscle mass especially in my arms are wasting, malabsorbtion, extreme fatigue, depression, anxiety etc etc.

What did they say about your pancreas?  Sometimes, it does not produce proper enzymes, therefore causing inability for you to properly absorb food and convert proteins into amino acids, which can be a huge problem.  Have you had your thyroid checked?  That would be important too.  If your gastro doc doesn't figure out what's wrong, you should seek an integrative medicine doctor or a type of holistic doc.  They typically will run tests other doctors won't and look at things a little differently also.  They can treat the whole body, not just one part.  It would definitely be worth it.  More than anything, don't give up.  I know it's hard when you are sick but don't give up.  If you aren't happy with one doctor, find another one and continue until you find one that helps you and one that you feel comfortable with.

Wow..sorry to read this. What is being/has been done for you? What kind of diet are you having to follow or have you tried? Clear or full liquid..soft food..reg food?
