Upper abdominal lump

I have a lump on the right side of my abdomen. It's just below my ribs. When I lay on my left side I can feel it and move it. It will move all the way over to my bellybutton. I don't have any pain, but when my fiance pushes on it just right it makes me jump. It's a wierd feeling but it doesn't necessarily hurt, it's hard to describe. Is this something I should be worried about?

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Yes, please get this investigated immediately. Do not push or touch it unnecessarily. This may be a hernia as you can feel it move, and there may be loops of intestine or gas trapped. Other than that it can be a superficial lump—a lipoma or an abscess or a cyst.
Please consult your PCP for primary examination followed by proper referral. Hope this helps. Take care!
