Tingling/weird sensations left side

Hi there. First symptom was a strange "fizz" rushing to the top of a bottle feeling in the top of my left hamstring and into left buttock. Was aware of this 2/3 times per day for last few weeks. This has gone in last few days.

On Friday i started to notice slight tingling, pins and needles in my left foot and lower leg. Like restless foot and slightly tickly/bubbly.

Saturday I start getting tingling/weird rush sensations in pinky and ring finger in left hand. Although some other sensations in hand and lower arm too. Had that since then pretty much. Perhaps slightly worse when arm bent.

Last night the left foot sensation returns. None of these present any pain whatsoever but aware of them most of time. Leg gets more apparent when sitting feet up legs crossed,

I am 33 yo healthy male no medical issues. However, just became first time father in last week and mother in law diagnosed with terminal illness recently too. I have a bit of a sore lower back but had this for as long as I remember, maybe bit More uncomfortable lately but manageable once stretched out. Not been eating or sleeping great

I am trying to tell myself all this is in my head and am conscious that I keep noticing them! Thought the hand was a trapped nerve but worried everything is left side and one after the other. Thinking the worst at the moment and will see a GP when I can but was looking for some input please.

Many thanks

One sided problems can indicate a stroke. It could also be a pinched nerve, neuropathology or something else. Try looking up a piriformis stretch and see if that helps. If you notice increased symptoms in your leg, that's a very possible culprit. Also if you out your wallet in your back pocket, stop and use your front pocket.
