Vaginal irritation and i don't know why ??

I have had 4 sex partners in my life, and only a few times ive done it unprotected. I haven't had sex with anyone  for a few months now but occasionally my vagina gets really irritated and itchy and its burned before but its gone away. it really freaks me the **** out  because the last guy i did it with i didnt know and i was a bit intoxicated and honestly i don't even remember it clearly. ive just been really paranoid about stds because i now realise that i was careless and stupid. I know it could be a uti but i havent had the chance  to go to the doctor and i dont know what to do or how to find out/fix it. Is this irrirritat normal? Could it be from shaving or wearing thongs too often or something else?? I cant deal with this paranoia and i especially  could not deal if i had some kind of STD. Please help

It might be a yeast infection. It could be one of several things. The best thing to do is get to the doctor and let them check you out. It's never pleasant, I know, but if it's a yeast infection, they have a little pill you can take, just once, and no messy creams. If it is an std, don't you want to go ahead and get it treated so it will go away? Ignoring it will not make it go away. No one will judge you. They are professionals, and are there to treat you medically, period. Good luck. You deserve to have happy, healthy lady parts!!

Hi,
You should google, or do a little online research on vaginitis and/or related infections ~ your symptoms sound similar to vaginitis.
Good Luck
