Vibrating chest

(the feeling is constant, with the symptoms described below happening on and off)

I have a vibration in my chest area, no pain, sometimes my arms shake a bit, and sometimes it makes me gag, it feels like my heart is beating really fast, but i check my pulse and it's fairly normal.

Sometimes my hands feel cold, my chest and stomach feels like i'm nervous or excited, it also feels like i have just drank some coffee and feeling the caffeine kicking in, even though i havn't drank coffee or any sugar/energy drinks for about 12 hours.

I first started experiencing this last night (21st March), during the day i drank about 5 cups of coffee and a 1 litre bottle of Kx(Red Bull), i have looked other places and i think it might be SVT, brought on by consuming alot of caffeine.

It is fairly easy to live with since i have no pain form it so far, although it was a problem trying to get to sleep, though i'm thinking about getting a doctor to check it out if it doesn't stop soon.

Thank you doctornee medical,

After having no sugar/junk food or coffee at all yesterday, i felt better waking up this morning, the whole vibrating chest area is still there but not as bad as yestarday.

Is this the sort of thing that will get better over time?

I will still continue to eat high alkaline foods no matter what.

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
In all probability the symptoms are due to excess of coffee, maybe acidity, gastric reflux and thyroid problems combined.
Cut down on coffee, take antacid gels, eat healthy and small frequent meals at a gap of about 4 hours and see if it helps.
Please consult your PCP for primary examination followed by proper referral.
Take care!

Hello JoshC,

This honestly sounds very similiar to what I was going through a while back with anxiety.  For me I never really drank caffeine except for pop once in a while, but I was having a majour bout of anxiety attacks and this is how they started out.  I was usually laying in bed at night trying to get to sleep and then all of a sudden out of nowhere I could hear my heartbeat through my pillow and it freaked me out, because it sounded so fast.  My body was nervous and I felt like I couldn't breathe eventually.  I even went to the emergency where they mistreated me for asthma.  So I don't know if maybe you are just caffeine sensitive and it may trigger an anxiety attack (this seems to be the case for me most of the time), or maybe just anxiety?  This is what my thoughts are, just don't rule it out completely :)  good luck!  and de stress! =)

I actually started looking into things about the ph level, my unhealthy acidic diet seems to be bringing on these symptoms, aswell i look at my sweaty armpits and my arms and t-shirt are covered in orange discharge which is a result of having a to high of a acidic diet, it's dark-organge aswell, meaning my ph level must be seriously upset.

I started eating high alkaline foods straight away (broccoli, pears, carrots, tomatoes, cucumber, peppermint tea) and within 5-10 minutes, my hands got warmer, my chest settled, and i felt good and healthier.

Is this the secret formula to generally good health?

And i read that coffee and sweeteners are two of the highest acidic things you can put into your body, i would put alot of and coffee and about 4-5 sweeteners in a cup each time.
