I've been dealing with dizziness for about 10 years now but it used to be pretty sporadic so I wasn't too worried about it. About three years ago it became very common and I passed out a couple of times. I had a positive tilt table test and was diagnosed with vasovagal syncope. But around the same time the dizziness started getting worse I started having other symptoms. I have 'brain fog'/confusion, headaches, periods of absolutely exhaustion/weakness where I can't even get out of bed, internally feel like I'm on fire at the same periods of the exhaustion, knee/joint pain during those periods. These periods of extreme symptoms come and go. Except I have no energy pretty much all the time. I also get frequent reflux and have IBS. I'm 35, female. I've had a brain MRI that came back abnormal showing lesions, but neurologists said they are tiny and it's not MS. I had a positive QSART test (reduced sweat output) but the rest of the autonomic testing passed so they don't believe it's autonomic related. My latest MRI showed mucosal thickening around my maxillary sinuses, flow-voids visualized in major vessels of anterior and posterior circulation, soft tissue prominence in the nasopharynx. Blood tests have shown inflammation and high C Reactive Protein. I've also had a sleep study and been diagnosed with PLMD (periodic limb movement disorder). It seems like I keep getting all of these small puzzle pieces but nobody can put it together to figure out what the underlying cause is. I've been bouncing around for years and am just looking for an answer now... Has anyone been through similar? Any ideas?
