High dheas and no period? No idea and waiting for doctors appointment...

Im 19, I have never had a regular period but about a year ago it stopped almost completely, and I've only had 2 periods in the last year. I have a DHEAS level that seems to keep increasing everytime I get blood work done (and has flagged as too high both times). My obgyn put me on progesterone, which I was to take every 40 days if I didn't get my period. The first time I took it I got my period, the second time I didn't. I have been referred to a endocrinologist but the appointment isn't until end of March. Has anyone experienced similar things?

Finding someone here with this specific issue might not happen.  Finding someone here that has experienced a hormone imbalance might be easier.  However, let me say that from now until March the only thing that you might experience is some male type traits.  Do not be scared by these.  When the Endocrinologist gets to the treatment these new  things should go away.  Unfortunately depending on how far this goes back, any traits you might have developed during puberty will not.
Notice I said when they get to the treatment, rest comfortable in the fact that they will and things can become normal for you.
