I think i was bite by some type of insect

Yesterday i went hiking through a forest and throughout my time their and when i got home i never felt a bite or any kind of pain. As i was getting ready for bed i noticed a red circle in the middle of my pelvis area and i could feel a bump under my skin. I thought it it was a pimple and i tired popping it but that didnt work. When i woke up the next morning the red dot was still there and right underneath it there was what looked like to be a circle of dry blood underneath my skin (maybe from trying to pop it). It doesnt itch, theres no pain, if it ever does hurt itf from my pants rubbing against it. My pelvis area has some swelling but not a crazy amount. Do you think is an insect bite or something else? Should i go to the doctor right away or wait for a day or two to see if it goes away?

You have to go to a physician IMMEDIATELY. Your symptoms are characteristic of a bite from a tick with lyme disease. Immediate administration of a course of antibiotics are necessaary to avoid a lifetime of pain and agony. Do not accept "no" when you request such treatment. There is a short window of opportunity to administer antibiotics before the infection travels. There is nothing inb your life that should be more important than seeing a physician TODAY!.

I would have it checked/assessed ASAP to make sure it is not something that can cause serious problems later.  Being that you were hiking in a forest and all who knows what it could be.

Keep us posted.
