One of the problems with low B-12 is that sometimes, even if you eat the proper foods in substantial quantities it isn't always absorbed well.
B-12 injections are one option, but sublingual B-12 with folic acid is helpful. You put the tablets under your tongue and allow them to decompose. The area under the tongue is very vascular and there is migration of the vitamin into the bloodstream.
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Diet rich in Vit B12 includes meat and animal products, such as cheese, beef, liver, salmon, cod, and eggs. Take B12 supplements and breakfast cereals fortified with vitamin B12.
Hope this helps. Take care!
