Strange chest / neck back pain that seems to be on a 4 day loop....
I have a weird symptom Every ( almost exactly ) 90 hours for aprox. 20 hours i have severe chest pain, more lung than heart feeling. I need to breathe shallow, deep breaths hurt and it literally hurts to even move. The first time it happened on a scale from 1-10 the pain was a 28 - i have never had pain like that, and i get bad migraines. The second time it was like an 8. The third maybe a 6. So it is gradually getting better. But the cyclical part of it concerns me. Why? Yes. I paid attention. Nothing was eaten, done, etc. different or the same to have caused. The first time i did get a rash across my chest and was ultimately diagnosed with Shingles, given an anti-viral - but i don't think that is what it was, Rash was closer to my neck and went away after about 3 days. EKG was fine, so was chest Xray. Medical care isn't great in my area ( especially coming from Boston ). If this possibly goes back to getting worse. I could be in trouble. Every 4 days doesn't always land on a weekend and it's impossible to work when the pain is over a 10. I feel going back to my doctor is a waste of time. Is there a specialist i should see? Has anyone seen this? I am a 48 year old woman. 5'2" 140 lbs. Taking Topamax ( migraines ) Welbutrin, Ambien. Have been taking all for over 10 years.
This may sound crazy, but how is your stomach area? Like mid rib to lower region? Hope you’re ok

I have had horrendous digestive issues for a few years. I think they thought it was a parasite at first - but it’s never really gone away. I have had every test under the sun and they can’t find any real issue. They know it’s real, they see the severe weight loss and occasional improvement ( usually temporary) with some medications - but they have never been able to diagnose it. I deal with it. I just eat at certain times.

So, 911 emergency. You need to go to the doctor right away. Pain like that and positioned like that could be a few things all of which you would want to know
