It is highly likely that the reason you are feeling dizzy is related to hitting your head and is likely to be concussion.  This can persist for some time and can take a few weeks to settle.

Take things slow and easy and rest.

You are doing the right thing in seeing your doctor to discuss your concerns.

Just saw this question, and I hope that you have had some results for your CT scan done, and that the results were negative for any type of brain bleed or tumor.  You may well have suffered from a concussion with that fall...they can lead to dizziness for quite some time after.

Hi hartman123.

You need to rule out the following possibilities:
1. Traumatic brain injury
2.  Post-traumatic vertigo, including Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV)

I sustained significant head injuries twice in the past, when I was involved in two horrific traffic accidents, both NDEs, where I escaped death by a... hairline!
A miracle of sorts, than I'm still around ( quite healthy in every aspect also)
to talk about it!

I had post-traumatic vertigo the second time with dizziness & migraines, which lasted about 3 months and resolved on its own. (I detest pills and meds in general,so since the doctor suggested them for relief, I simply declined).

I'm glad for you that you're following up with the CT scan.

Best wishes.
Niko
