Is this normal?

I suffer with depression anxiety and ibs. I doubt any would be related to this but anyway, every night when I lay down to sleep, I get a horrid aching twitch. I can't explain weather it's in my hips and legs or hips/ pelvis. But it's happening every night. I get woken up by it, it get to the point where I'm awake until 4 in the morning because as I drift of the twitches come. I struggle with sleep as it is so I really need some advice about this. I've tried doing yoga poses for hip/back incase it's where my muscles aren't getting the stillmulation they need (as I'm house bound due to social phobia and anxiety disorder) but that nor warm baths before bed or hot water bottles help.
I've tried looking it up and all I've found so far is restless leg syndrome but it's more rooted in my hip than my legs. Any idea?
