Morphine Withdrawal

I've been taking Morphine Sulfate 15mg. slow release tablets for 2 weeks. The back pain I had is gone and I want to stop taking the Morphine. Is it safe to stop or do I have to wean off of it? I also have the quick release 15mg. of Morphine which I haven't had to use. Will I have some sore of reaction if I stop cold turkey?

Dude, caregiver222 nailed it. Throw the rest of that s#$t out and be done with it. I'd be looking for a new ortho doc too. I've have more surgeries and accident than most. I've been gobbling up loritabs like chiklets for the better part of ten years. Brother, you do not want to get on this train. I'm 50 now and I believe I'm done this time. I've still got a load of hell to go through yet. Good Luck.

Go cold turket.

For my two cents the individual who wrote the script should have his medical license revoked.

But that's just me.

You'll feel lots of terrible aches, pains and cramps. You'ss feel like you want to die.

Ignore these feeling.

They will pass.
