I have absolutely no idea of what is happening with you. It sounds neurological and somehow, also, hormonal because of night sweats?? I've also heard similar symptoms being related to people who have gone to exotic places in the world and contracting some strange, parasite, which wrecks havoc on their central nervous system, organs, etc. I would probably ask my doctor to send me to a topical disease centre for bloodwork to be done to have that ruled out. Remember, I am not an expert, just another patient with undiagnosed symptoms that leave us all bewildered. good luck to you. T.
Have you had your disc's and nerves in your back checked out, have u had a ct scan?
You should make an appointment to see your doctor, explain all the symptoms that you are experiencing and ask for him to refer you to a specialist that deals with rheumatic problems and send for the appropriate scans.
A blood test would also show if you suffer from an autoimmune arthritic condition.
If you have had this arthritic problem all your life, every time you suffer from inflammation, that would cause to sweat. Viral and bacterial problems can also affect the joints and at some point you may have had infections in the joints.
It is important to establish which rheumatic disease that you are suffering from for you to be given the right medication. With most of the arthritic problems there is no cure, but only pain management by adjusting your lifestyle, pain relief medications, anti-inflammatory drugs and antidepressants.
You could also ask your doctor to refer you to physiotherapy.
Best wishes.
Thank you so much for your replies i have travelled overseas numerous times so i guess some nasty bug could be the cause. But i have been experiencing some of the from before my travels. I have been for a CT,MRI & other total body scan with no result. But i had a spinal fusion 33 years ago with a Harrington rod which apparently distorts the results. So i will endure and keep trying thank you again
It sounds a lot like Fibromyalgia to me. Probably because I have it and suffer from many aches and pains, fevers, stomach problems, weak legs, headaches, painful muscle aches, muscle spasms.... the list goes on and on.
I am so sorry that you are feeling so poorly. Even if you diagnose yourself by pressing on the trigger points (elbows, knees, buttocks, shoulders) you need to see a neurologist. Only a doctor can diagnose Fibromyalgia. She/he can then recommend proper treatment - which may include physical therapy (exercise in a warm swimming pool) and gentle stretching exercises and short relaxed walks.
Best wishes, Silverfox
I would see a neuro dr and if thats NOT it try an infectious disease dr, maybe it is something from over seas, keep us updated and get well soon!
