Help I have been hurt for over 1 year

I was injured on Dec. 31, 2010 at work. I twisted my ankle inward and then the following night I was working again and the same ankle was kicked in the same spot that was injured the night before. I am still in a lot of pain, have never had the swelling go down, and I have occasional purple coloring of the foot. I am still waiting for a diagnosis. I was wondering what might be wrong.

MY SHINGLES START WHEN IS WAS 25 MY FATHER HAD DIED AND IT WAS HARD ON ME. WEEK AFTER HE DIED I HAD A  NERVOUS BREAKDOWN THOUGHT I WAS HAVING A HEART ATTACK AND SHAKEY THAT WENT AWAY IN A WEEK THEN I GOT HIT WITH THE SHINGLES SWOLLEN LYMPH NODES AND FEW BLISTERS ON MY TRUNK (WENT TO DOCTOR) WASNT ALOT OF PAIN WENT AWAY. IM 51 NOW AND ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO I NOTICED SKIN PAIN RIGHT SIDE OF BELLY NO MARKS FELT LIKE A SUN BURN AND HURT TO THE TOUCH NOW 2 YEARS LATER I HAVE IT AGAIN SO ANNOYING......GET WELL SOON.

I will keep you informed. I am still waiting to here from workers comp about that second opinion that the doctor wanted me to see.

a fracture wont heal, a break will. i think you have a fracture and if your doc doesnt sort it you'll have a claim on your hands for negligence as if left untreated it will infect the bone. keep me informed plz of your progresds. im right:-)

I have seen many doctors 1 general practitioner, 1 Podiatrist, 2 orthopedics, and 1 neurologist. the neurologist is the only one that had any idea of what might be wrong and he left before he could diagnose anything. It has been difficult to walk on the foot since it was injured and the doctors have no idea what is wrong with it I have even had 3 rounds of physical therapy.

Ouch have you seen a doctor at all cause that sounds serious and like it needs immediate attention don't put it off cause soon walking will become difficult it could be broken I suggest naopolea for the swelling which is due to inflammation
