hi the thing is lately i have been having a problem that is i feel vry cold,i shivered from the cold like 2hrs ,at the same time i have high fever and a severe headache.....what could i be suffering from ????plz help me because am so worried about my health

Are you suffering from any other symptoms? Stomach aches? Headaches? Sore throat? Or is it literally just the temperature and the cold shivers?
You could just have a case of a cold or flu-like illness.

Fever with chills is difficult to diagnose on net without examining the patient and running some basic tests. I can enumerate the various causes and you can discuss with your treating physician. The commonest cause is viral fever. It can also be malaria which is often difficult to catch by diagnostic tests. UTI is another common cause. Pneumonia and ear infections are probably ruled out as you have no related symptoms that you report. If nothing is caught, then it could be viral or even typhoid. A comprehensive investigation is required keeping all the points in mind if this does not subside in 4-5 days. Keep a temperature chart. Drink plenty of fluids like ginger tea, warm lemonade, soups etc. Take medicines like acetoaminophen or ibuprofen for fever. If symptoms do not subside in 3-4 days talk to your treating doctor. Take care!
